How to book your New Forest lunch . . .
(This booking site will close at midnight Friday 26th July. You can then book by visiting the Rhinefield in person on Show days from 10.00am).
Just choose which day and which time you wish to have lunch. Click on the appropriate box and enter how many guests will be eating. If you wish to eat at the same table as another group of people the booking needs to be one booking including all of your party. We regret that we are unable to join up separately booked parties.
You will receive an immediate confirmation email containing details of the booking and your payment. The email will mention Shipping of your order - don't worry about this! We are trying to resolve the issue. Tickets will be available for collection from The Rhinefield Restaurant anytime from 10.00am. Tickets will not be posted.
You can add table wine to your booking if you wish, this will save you queuing at the bar. Just collect your wine from the bar when you arrive.
You can also pre book wine for the Show Supper on Monday evening.
You will be asked if the wine you have selected is for Lunch or the Show Supper on Monday evening.

The New Forest Show - Rhinefield Restaurant Lunch Menu.
We were delighted with the feedback from our 2018 lunch customers and are pleased to announce that the Rhinefield lunch buffet will be available again in 2019. You will again be treated to a wonderful selection of great tasting food in a manner that allows us to serve you attentively and expediently. Those in a rush can enjoy lunch at their speed whilst others may enjoy a more leisurely three courses.
As usual there will be two lunch sittings, the first at 11.45am and the second at 1.45pm.
When you arrive and are seated for lunch you will be given the starter menu, and once you have made your choice your starter will be served from the kitchen to your table. You will then be free to visit the main course buffet table at your convenience. We will be offering you a large selection of hot and cold dishes, and you will be welcome to take as many different items as you desire. This will allow you a much greater selection of food choices than on a plated menu and allows your lunch to be as quick or as leisurely as your timetable dictates.
Please bear in mind that our first sitting guests are required to vacate their table by 1.20pm at the latest in order to allow us time to prepare for the second sitting at 1.45pm. There are no time restrictions on the second sitting.
Following the success of last year's very popular pudding buffet we are offering this again with an even greater selection of mouth watering deserts.
Our staff will be on hand to assist those customers that require some help with the buffet and we will be able to collect food on their behalf.
Our lunch menu will be able to accommodate most dietary requirements without prior notice, but please contact us if you have a specific or unusual need. All food items will have a list of allergens displayed on the buffet table for your information.
You may like to consider ordering table wine with your lunch booking. This will be available for collection at the bar - ready and waiting for you! Just look at the New Forest Wine banner at the top of this page. You can simply add it to your lunch booking, there is no need for two separate transactions.
We are unable to put wine on the tables before you arrive because many tables are shared.
Rhinefield Lunch Menu
Starters - served from the kitchen.
Isle of Wight heritage tomato salad, with baby mozzarella and micro basil.
Poached and smoked salmon pate with pickled fennel, dill salad and seeded crisp.
Chicken and pork terrine, wrapped in pancetta with picallili gel, apple and herb slaw.
Port poached pear with goat's curd mousse, baby rocket, olive crumb and balsamic drizzle.
Main Course - available from the buffet.
Cold roasted sirloin of beef, served rare with salsa verde.
Lymington crab cakes served warm with a spiced chutney.
Rare roasted duck salad with redcurrants, watercress and redcurrant vinaigrette.
Poached breast of chicken with a mango and yoghurt dressing and fresh coriander.
Poached salmon dressed simply and served with a chive hollandaise.
Lyburn Gold cheese tart with baby courgettes.
Feta and mushroom frittata.
Pea and mint falafels, quinoa and herb salad and tomato salsa - suitable for our vegan guests.
Served with a delightful range of salads and buttered baby potatoes.
Puddings - on the pudding table. Small enough to have 2 or 3!
Local strawberries with clotted cream, pouring cream, meringues and shortbread biscuits. Make your own Eaton Mess!
Vanilla pannacotta with local strawberries.
Pretty little trifles with local fruits, creme anglais and lemon sponge.
Rich chocolate pot with local raspberries and baby fudge.
